Scout Hut Bookings

We are mainly open to other community groups or those already connected to the group (e.g parent, ex-member, helpers), but we do also allow others to user the hut.

We have a meeting room, medium sized hall, kitchen and outside space available with car parking facilities within the grounds. Our Main hall accommodates up to 40 people. The Meeting room will accommodate 10 in a formal meeting.

Currently we charge a rate of £10 per hour during the day. For overnight stays we charge a base cost of £20, plus £2 per person.

To book our hut, check the availability calendar first, then fill in your requirements. Once you have made a provisional booking, you can then make payment either by cheque or online using GoCardless.

Terms

  • - Bookings should be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
    - After receipt of this booking form, we will contact to request a non-returnable deposit of 20% or £10 (whichever is greater). On receipt of this we will confirm your booking.
    - A returnable damage deposit may also be requested. This will be returned at the end of hire, subject to there being no damage charges.
    - The final balance is due no later than 2 weeks before the hire, unless another time frame is requested and approved.
    - Payment Methods: Cash, Cheque or GoCardless (online payment)
    - Cheques should be made payable to 2nd Penrith Scout Group
